5 Cozy Activities for Relaxing Evenings & Weekends
1. Craft Something By Hand

By far my favorite thing to d0 – crafts! Once you get started making something, it’s easy to get lost in it. Remember: the joy is to be found in the act, not in the product. Some ideas of what to make can be:
- Journaling & Scrapbooking: Reflect, document, and get creative with writing or cutting out pictures and photos to preserve memories or decompress from the day. My favorite type of journals to write and scrapbook in are dot-gridded, like one of these.
- Embroidery: Learn the art of stitching and create, beautiful handmade designs. Here’s a great beginner’s kit!
- Bookmarks: It’s so easy to make bookmarks, you wouldn’t believe it! Craft them out of felt or construction paper. Use stickers, markers, or print images to decorate them. There’s no wrong way to do it, and you’ll end up with something personal to decorate your books.
- Felt Sewing: Know a bit of sewing? Great! You can create whimsical felt creations as ornaments or just little gifts for friends and families.
- Kneedle-craft: Ah the beauty of crochet and knitting. One of the most cozy activities is starting a new project by making cute, small crocheted animals or knitted items. Want to try your hand at crochet? Wooble kits are a great way to start and are really cute to boot.
